Century Yuasa Batteries 2026 Supercars Championship Events

IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTICE – WAIVER AND INDEMNITY OR WARNING:

This document affects your legal rights. By agreeing to this you are accepting the risks associated with attending Supercars events.

1. I, the “Participant”, recognised that Supercars Championship events and motorsports in general are inherently dangerous recreational activities and there is significant risk of injury, disability or death.
2. I acknowledge that the risks associated with attending a Supercars Championship event include, but are not limited, to the risk that I may suffer harm as a result of:
   1. motor vehicles (or parts of them) colliding with other motor vehicles or persons or property;
   2. other participants acting dangerously or with lack of skills;
   3. high levels of noise exposure;
   4. acts of violence and other harmful acts (whether intentional or inadvertent) committed by persons attending or participating in the event; and
   5. the failure or unsuitability of facilities (including grand-stands, fences and guard rails) to ensure my safety.
3. In exchange for being able to attend or participate in this “Event”, I agree to release Century Yuasa Batteries Pty Ltd ABN 66 009 685 232 of 37-65 Cobalt Street, Carole Park QLD 4300 and its associated companies, directors, shareholders, staff, contractors and family (collectively the “Indemnified Parties”) from all liability for the following which may happen at this event:

1. 1. my death;
   2. any physical or mental injury to me, including the aggravation, acceleration or recurrence of such an injury; and/or
   3. my contraction, aggravation or acceleration of a disease including but not only COVID-19.

4. I will at all times indemnify and keep indemnified the Indemnified Parties from and against any loss or liability incurred by me arising from any claim, suit, action or proceedings (including legal costs on an indemnity basis) in relation to this Event, whether or not such loss or liability is in connection with any willful, reckless or negligent act or omission or breach of law by the Indemnified Parties.
5. I also agree to sign any further indemnities and disclaimers as required by Supercars or Motorsports Australia staff before engaging in any “VIP Experience”, such as course car rides, pit garage tours, chopper rides and/or grid walks at this Event. If I refuse to do so, I agree that I cannot engage in such VIP Experience.
