Proven Performance. Verified Safety.

Century Lithium Pro Gen2 batteries are built for demanding real-world applications - and tested to prove it. Each battery has undergone rigorous certification not only at the cell level, but also for the complete battery assembly, integrated BMS, and vibration resistance. This comprehensive approach ensures that every component meets strict safety, durability, and performance standards, giving you confidence in even the harshest conditions.

Century Lithium Pro batteries have not only been tested and certified in line with industry standards for the Lithium cells but also for the BMS, battery assembly and vibration resistance.  Vibration resistance testing is critical given the intended applications and operating environment.

This investment in additional certification and testing is important to ensure the highest standards of product design, quality, performance and safety whilst maintaining the equity of the Century brand name and integrity of our valued partners.

UN38.3 (Transportation Certificate)

UN38.3 certification is a set of safety tests for lithium batteries, ensuring they are safe for transport. These tests simulate conditions like high temperatures, pressure changes, and vibrations to prevent issues like fires, overheating, or explosions during shipping by air, sea, or land.

IEC 62619 (Safety Requirements)

IEC 62619 certification is a safety standard for lithium-ion batteries. It ensures the batteries are safe, reliable, and won't cause dangers such as fire or explosion. The certification tests how well the battery handles issues like overheating and short circuits, making sure they are safe for use.

IEC 61960 (Performance Requirements Portable)

IEC 61960 certification ensures the safety and performance of lithium-ion batteries. It checks how long the battery lasts, how well it holds a charge and its safety during normal use. The certification makes sure the battery won't overheat, leak, or catch fire and that it works well over time.

IEC 60095 (Vibration Testing)

Version 3 achieved, tested to demonstrate vibration durability in demanding environments such as marine vessels, caravans, and 4WD vehicles.

AS/NZS CISPR 32

AS/NZS CISPR 32 certification ensures that electronic devices, do not interfere with radio signals or other electronics. It checks that the device doesn't produce too much electromagnetic interference (EMI), which could affect things like Wi-Fi or TV signals. In simple terms, it makes sure electronics are not "too noisy" and work without disrupting other devices.

Regulatory Compliance Mark (RCM)

A label that shows a product satisfies safety electrical standards in Australia and New Zealand. If a product has the RCM mark, it means it has been tested and approved to meet important electrical rules in Australia and New Zealand.
